IPhone 6 concept video

Designer Sam Beckett has come out with an iPhone concept which could actually make it sometime in the near future. The concept imagines iPhone that's slightly bigger than the current model in order to accommodate a larger 4.7 inch display(while expecting a 5 inch display). It's also slightly thinner, with the designer including it in a new "iPhone Air" family. But overall, the iPhone Air looks a like a phone you'd expect to see form the Cupertino-based company.

As per the design concept by Beckett, the phone is 8% larger than the iPhone 5s, and 9% thinner (at 7 mm vs 7.6 mm for the iPhone 5S, while display is 17% bigger than the iPhone 5s'. The iPhone would have a 1920 x 1080 resolution display with 468 pixel-per-inch(PPI), covered by sapphire Glass. "Some extra space could be potentially utilized by reducing the width of the side bezels and by also slimming down the top and bottom of the phone frame too," Beckett wrote on The Verge forums.

The rear camera would be a 10-MP camera with an aperture of 1/1.8 and a fingerprint sensor. Interestingly Beckett included an iWatch-related hint on the display of the device, where healthbook app can be seen, which is the rumoured name for Apple's iWatch-related health and fitness application.

Apple had recently also announced a buyback offer for the first-gen iPad mini, under which an interested buyer could exchange an old tablet or laptop or even a netbook for a minimum of Rs. 5,000 off on a brand new iPad mini. Under this scheme, Apple priced the iPad mini Wi-Fi for Rs 16,990 and the Wi-Fi+cellular version for Rs 25,999. The scheme was followed by a discount offered by Flipkart which is offering upto Rs 9,000 off on 16Gb version of the first Gen model of the iPad mini.
